ACCES Scholarship Program

I kindly apply for financial assistance to pay for my university education.

I am a mature student taking a 4 year course of Bachelor of Science in Communication and Journalism in Moi University, Kenya.

I am starting my third year this September of 2008.

The annual fee is Kshs 134,000 (approximately US$ 2500)

I am a family man with three children and unemployed wife.

My parents were separated when I was young (Class 1) subjecting me and other family members to a difficult upbringing.

Both my parents are aged and sick and depend on me entirely.

I also take care of my two sisters, one who is mentally handicapped and the other physically handicapped.

Being the only one employed in my family ( two brothers and six sisters), I have been struggling to pay for their education and their subsistence.

The high University education cost together with nuclear and extended family commitment has put me in a financial crisis.

I am therefore appealing to you to assist me to pay for my education as I struggle to meet other commitments.

May the name of the Almighty High be praised as you consider my request.
