Acacia seeks to employ an experienced Chef for their Kisumu headquarters, on a six (6) month fixed term contract.

Responsibilities

  • Preparation of high quality, varied multi-cultural meals for up to 30 staff members, including expatriates
  • General kitchen and household management, including stock keeping Qualification Requirements:
  • Diploma in food production or related discipline from a recognized institution

    Qualifications

  • At least five years' continuous experience in high quality and varied meal preparation for large groups, including international cuisine, and in managing a kitchen that serves 10-20 people
  • Excellent cookery skills in a wide variety of cuisines
  • Fluent in English and Kiswahili and able to work from English recipes
  • Knowledge of stock keeping and general kitchen and household management
  • Kenyan Citizen.
