Responsibilities


  • Apply a structured methodology and lead organizational change management activities
  • Support design of methods and strategies to build capacity (individual and organizational)
    Develop strategies that drive faster adoption, higher ultimate utilization of and proficiency with the changes that impact institutions and their employees
  • Conduct impact analyses, assess change readiness and identify key stakeholders
  • Work with communications staff to support communication efforts
  • Work with RME Director to design indicators and assess the organizational change impact
  • Provide input, document requirements and support the design and delivery of training and other OCD methods
  • Undertake organizational change assessments
  • Identify, analyze and prepare risk mitigation tactics and anticipated resistance
  • Support change management at the organizational level


    Requirements


  • Master’s Degree in Organizational Development or Business Administration, or other relevant field
  • Eight (8) years of relevant professional experience diagnosing institutional challenges, i.e.
    working in government or private sector institutions’ HR departments and senior management to identify bottlenecks, develop and implement change plans
  • Successful candidates will have a proven record of managing teams to achieve results
  • Successful candidates will have a proven record of effective stakeholder engagement
  • Demonstrable analytical skills and experience measuring the impact of organizational capacity development activities
  • Extensive experience with capacity building in public and private sectors
  • Strong interpersonal skills and communication skills, initiative, good judgment, and problem-solving abilities
  • Advanced written/oral skills in English
  • Computer literacy
  • Experience in consulting, coaching, mentoring project teams
  • Experience in developing and managing organizational change
  • Ugandan national preferred
  • (8+) years of experience and a master degree OR the equivalent combination of education and experience
