Abt Associates Lead, Agricultural Policy and Enabling Environment Jobs in Tanzania

Overview.

Abt Associates, a global leader in research and implementing technical programs in the fields of economic growth, international health, social and environmental policy, and climate change, seeks highly qualified candidates for an anticipated USAID-funded agriculture project in Tanzania.

Candidates should possess the following qualifications:

• A university degree in agriculture, business administration, economics, communications, health and behavioral or social sciences or a related field is required.

• A minimum of 10 years of professional experience in one or more of the relevant technical areas listed below. USAID experience is highly preferred.

Lead, Agricultural Policy and Enabling Environment will work to advance a series of horticulture policy and regulatory activities in collaboration with donors and stakeholders.

He/she will advance activities which engage local governments, private sector, farmer organizations, and key stakeholders to improve the enabling environment and address policy bottlenecks to market systems development.
