Overall Purpose:

To support high data quality and reporting in the DHIS-2 database.

Specific Responsibilities:

Run duplicate reports daily and share with field teams for resolution.

Update duplicates feedback from field teams in the database.

Update missing data elements from field.

Run outlier reports and update corrections from the field as per guidance.

Track data submissions from each spray operator per site daily.

Compare spray operator data submissions with team leader reports daily and share with MEL Assistant.

Print replenishment tools based on field request.

Package, label and ensure tools printed are transported to the counties via project vehicles on a weekly basis.

Stock check of the phones retrieved from the field post campaign.

Required qualifications and experience:

Training in Biostatistics, Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, or IT or any other numeric or computer related course with experience in data management.

Minimum educational requirements:

Degree + 2 years of relevant work experience (where 1 year in IRS is a preferred advantage) OR

Higher National Diploma+ 2 years of relevant work experience (where 1 year in IRS is a preferred advantage) OR

Diploma + 6 years of relevant work experience (where 1 year in IRS is a preferred advantage)

1 years’ experience in data entry and cleaning of IRS data will be an added advantage.

Familiarity with DHIS-2 desirable.

Familiarity with mobile data collection applications

Additional professional training in data management preferred.

Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office and database software.

Strong computer skills: Microsoft Office Applications.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills desired.

Desirable

Willingness to reside within the County of jurisdiction.

Ability to work with minimal supervision.

Willingness to work for 6 days in a week (Monday to Saturday).

Ability to work as a team player even in an environment of high daily targets.
