Overall purpose of the job:

Reporting to the Head of Procurement, the Procurement Officer will be responsible of carrying out purchasing activities in a quality, efficient and timely manner.

Key responsibilities:

Enforcement of the company's procurement policies and procedures

Selection and management of pre-qualified vendor

Research and evaluation of prospective suppliers

Preparation of tender documents and managing tendering process

Management of inventories and maintaining accurate purchase and pricing records

Management of supplier relationship and supplier performance management

Procurement reporting

Position requirements:

Degree in procurement, business management or related field.

A member of Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (MCIPS)

At least three years of experience in a similar position

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and procuring using ERP Software

Strong communication and negotiation skills

Good analytical and strategic thinking skills

Supervisory experience is required

Attention to detail

Ability to maintain integrity and confidentiality
