Job Summary: On behalf of our client a manufacturing company, we seek to recruit a highly competent, motivated and professional individual to fill the position of Sales Manager.
Job Overview:
Sales Manager will be responsible for researching local markets and pinpoint potential business leads, then develop strategies to broaden our outreach and bring in new customers.
Effective training methods are vital to providing our sales representatives with the tools they need to meet monthly sales goals.
We prefer candidates who have at least five years of sales experience in the manufacturing industry and a long history of success in prospecting and closing deals. .
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
• Develop monthly, quarterly, and annual sales plans
• Pursue new sales opportunities, gather inbound leads, and follow up with calls and meetings.
• Establish sales territories and manage sales distribution.
• Train current staff on effective sales strategies to attract new customers.
• Research customer needs and requirements; implement new ideas and strategies to generate interest in sales.
• Analyze sales data and recommend changes or improvements for better customer satisfaction and future revenue.
• Prepare and present quarterly goals and forecasts for future projects.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
•
Bachelor’s Degree in business, administration, or related field preferred
• 5+ years of experience in sales, management, customer service, or a related field
• Demonstrated and proven sales results
• Sales Management – Strong experience in meeting and exceeding targets and coming up with new sales strategies and incentives.
• Developing & Implementing Sales Strategy – has extensive experience and proven success in analyzing sales opportunities, sales segmentation and sales positioning.
• Proven ability to identify sale trends and translate them into product initiatives.
• Ability to lead teams.
