Women's Development Associate, Relief International - Sudan

Relief International (RI), is an international relief and development agency with cross-sectoral programs bridging relief and development

Location: Sudan (North Darfur, El Fasher and travel to other program areas)

Qualifications:

Significant (at least 1 year) field experience working with an INGO in increasing positions of reportage and responsibility.

Experience (at least 1 year) developing and implementing humanitarian activities with a focus on protection, youth, women, and / or community capacity.

An undergraduate degree in international relations, human rights, economics, women's studies, or related fields; graduate degree a plus.

Demonstrated leadership and teamwork skills.

Logistical planning and problem-solving skills.

Experience with data collection and analysis.

At least entry-level experience living and working in dynamic, insecure environments and with local communities.

Ability to live and function at a high capacity within a collaborative organizational structure and from within a remote post.

Understanding of the political and cultural context in Sudan and Eastern and Central Africa and a strong interest in working in the region

Demonstrated written and oral communication skills

Demonstrated statistical survey, analysis, and presentation skills
