There are a total of 16 scholarships per session for the academically most outstanding undergraduate and graduate students joining UCL.
One undergraduate and one graduate award is reserved for students from Africa.

The scholarships consist of £5,000, and are tenable for one year only. Scholarship funds may be applied to fees or paid out in three instalments payable at the start of each term.
Application Deadline and Procedure
There is no application procedure.
All candidates admitted to UCL by 1 June will be considered.
Notification of Results
A panel of UCL academics makes the final selection from nominations put forward by the Departments and Faculties.
Successful candidates can expect to be notified by the end of July.
Late awards (MPhil/PhD only) may be possible should a suitable candidate not be found at the main selection.
