The UNDP Somalia Country Office, based in Nairobi, is looking for interns in various disciplines. Students shall be selected for internships that relate either to the organization's strategic activities or to administrative or technical functions.

Required Skills and Experience:

Enrolled in a bachelors/masters programme in a graduate school (second university degree or higher) at the time of application and during the internship.

Proficiency in English required. Fluency Somali or in Arabic is an asset;

Computer literate in standard software applications.

Demonstrated the ability to successfully interact with individuals of different cultural backgrounds and beliefs, which include willingness to try and understand and be tolerant of differing opinions and views.

Internship assignments vary in length, however, they will normally last no less than six weeks and no more than twelve months.
