Call for the admission to the Scuola Interpolitecnica DI Dottorato - Italy
SIPD is a Doctorate School run by the three Italian Techical universities, the Politecnico di Torino (coordinator of the project), the Politecnico di Bari and the Politecnico di Milano, aiming to offer joint PhD programs of high qualification.
Advantages of attending SIPD Doctorate School are:
All students get a scholarship;
Travel and accommodation expenses relative to the periods abroad, fees and tuition for scientific conferences and/or courses attended in other institutions relevant to the completion of their doctoral work, and other personal costs connected with their research, are taken care of by the School;
Students conduct part of their research in the laboratories of the three partner schools, in cooperation with the relative faculties and PhD students;
Students benefit of the maximum degree of quality and efficiency, deriving from the synergy of the three Polytechnics.
Each scholar is awarded Euro 11.718,00 a year, including social welfare charges (Euro 900,00 net a month).
This amount is increased by 50 % for periods spent abroad, to a maximum of 18 months.
Eligibility requirements
Possession of an university degree (a five-year course) or of an equivalent degree obtained; from a foreign university. Participation is also open to students who will obtain their university degree not later than 31st December
Enjoying civil and political rights in your Countries of origin or nationality. There are no restrictions in terms of age and nationality.
