PlaNet Finance is an international non-governmental organization (NGO) that aims to alleviate poverty worldwide through the development of microfinance.

PlaNet Finance offers the following job opportunity:

Microinsurance Project Manager - Senegal

Qualifications:

Master’s degree or PhD in project management, development, insurance or a related field.

At least 10 years experience implementing projects in developing countries and 5 years experience as a Team Leader or Project Manager

Successful experience in managing large projects of at least 1 million euros in developing countries is required

Strong knowledge of microfinance/microinsurance/insurance/agriculture is a must

Detailed knowledge and experience of World Bank or IFC, particularly World Bank procedures

Fluency in French and English is necessary.
