Bioinformatics and experimental investigation of a Roseobacter bacterium (finisching and manual annotation of the genome sequence, cultivation in a chemostat, transcriptome and proteome analysis.
The Ph.d. project is integrated into a joint research consortium in Lower Saxony.
The position will be available starting from the earliest possible appointment.
The contract will be for two years.
Salary is based on TVöD level 13/2 (BAT IIa/2).

Requirements:
A diploma or masters degree in biology or biotechnology are required. Experience with bioinformatics is advantageous.
