Onassis Foundation Scholarships: The Onassis Foundation invites applications for research grants and educational scholarships.

These opportunities will be available to non Greeks, in different academic levels - post-graduate students, Ph.D candidates, University Professors of all levels (Ph.D. holders), postdoctoral researchers (Ph.D. holders) and artists.

These scholarships/ grants is available for research and studies in Greece (only).

Subjects for Scholarships: Humanities: Philology, Literature, Linguistics, History, Archaeology, Philosophy, Educational Studies, Psychology - Social Science (excluding Law): Political Sciences, Sociology, Political analysis, International and European Studies, Administration Sciences, Social Theory and Social Policy - Arts: Visual Arts, Music, Dance, Theatre, Photography, Film Studies, New Media.

The research grants for University Professors of all levels (Ph.D. holders), postdoctoral researchers (Ph.D. holders) and artists is available from 3 to 6 months period.

A total of fifteen such grants are available.

A monthly allowance of 1000 Euros and air tickets (return) is available under this scheme.

The educational scholarships for post-graduate students and Ph.D candidates is available from 5 to 10 months period.

A total of 10 such scholarships are available.

A monthly allowance of 850 Euros and air tickets (return) is available under this scheme.

The scholarship application deadline is 29 February.
