2. Factory HR Managers – Kenya and Ethiopia

Vacancies exist for Plant HR Managers for two of the group’s steel plants, one at Athi River and the other in Ethiopia.

Reporting to the respective Plant Managers and each leading a small team, the persons appointed will have responsibility for the full range of HR activities at factory level, including recruitment, payroll administration, appraisal and disciplinary processes, health and safety, security and staff welfare.

3. Internal Auditor – Ethiopia

Based at the Group’s Ethiopian head office in Addis Ababa, a vacancy exists for an Internal Auditor to develop appropriate checks and balances for all the Group’s entities in Ethiopia as well as for investigating, reporting on and remedying any irregularities.

The person appointed will also collect and monitor data for balanced scorecards used in the Group’s performance management process.

Applicants should be graduates holding professional qualifications and should have had a minimum of five years experience in a recognized international auditing firm.
