Sales Executives Jobs in Kenya
A medium sized organization, publishers of a reputable monthly publication is in the process of strengthening its advertising sales force.
Reporting to the sales supervisor, the successful candidates will be expected to;
Develop monthly sales plans in close consultation with the sales supervisor
Visit potential advertisers on a regular basis, make sales presentations and respond to any queries
Manage key accounts and achieve agreed sales targets
Identify sales growth opportunities and recommend action plans for achievement
Requirements
University degree in a marketing/sales related field
Aggressive team player with the ability to work under pressure and deliver within agreed timelines
Must be motivated and willing to develop a career in advertising sales
Diploma holders with CIM/KIM qualification and at least 2 years relevant sales experience will be considered.

Purpose of the Job
To maximise Nokia business and market share in the assigned area through efficient management of retail representatives, and co-operation with Nokia personnel.
Main responsibilities
To ensure that all Field Force personnel understands clearly their Job descriptions, deliverables and Key Performance indicators/Targets.
To ensure that the Field Force is provided with and efficiently use the necessary resources (tools, equipments, trade materials) to be able to perform their job effectively and achieve targets.
To ensure quality, high standard and professional service delivery through planned Field visits (Back checks, Shadow calls).
Work closely with retail partners to promote strong mutually beneficial & strategic relationships.
To ensure regular, timely, relevant and validated feedback to Nokia.
Participate in the weekly and Monthly business review /planning meetings with Nokia/Agency management and ensure that all agreed action items/activities are implemented in accordance with the standard operating procedures.
Evaluating the performance of the field force by conducting regular appraisal (individual & Team) to identify areas of improvement and making necessary recommendations/changes that would increase efficiency of the team
Motivate the team through coaching, empowering and ensuring payments of salaries & incentives
Ensure that all agreed systems and account management processes are implemented as mutually agreed between Nokia and the Agency. (Corporate policies and SOPs).
Person Specifications
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business
MBA (An added advantage)
Professional qualifications in MSK
Experience
Two year’s working experience in middle/Senior Management positions in Sales in FMCG.

The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for the effective management of sales and business development of the whole organization so as to ensure the achievement of financial targets.
Duties & Responsibilities

The Sales Executive is responsible for developing and maintaining new business, preparing proposals and quotations.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Identifying new clients and business opportunities within the logistics chain
Maintenance and growth of the existing customer base
Providing solutions and offering tailor made services to clients where necessary
Liaising with the MICT Network and business partners worldwide in regards to freight costs and shipment tracking
Growth of Sales territory and meeting revenue targets
Compiling accurate and timely reports for internal distribution
Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time
Qualification & Experience
Degree in Sales & Marketing from a recognized university.
Minimum 3 years’ experience in the freight industry.
Good understanding of market trend and demand
Working knowledge of the clearing and forwarding business would be an added advantage.
