The Logistics Assistant will assist the Logistics Coordinator in the management of all logistic functions of the Niger Country programme and will take responsibility for specific duties as delegated to them by the Logistics Coordinator.

Skills and experience needeed:

  • Strong management skills and proven experience in managing teams

  • Strong working knowledge of transport and fleet management.
  • Experience with mentoring and building the capacity of local staff
  • Strong organisational skills, ability to plan, timetable activities and monitor budgets

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Fluent French
  • Computer Literacy

    Requirements:

  • Relevant practical experience working for an INGO or equivalent experience with another organisation.
  • Team player, flexible and capable of working with a multi-national team.
