International Environmental Research Center Internship Programme for Spring 2008

International Environmental Research Center (IERC) at Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology (GIST), Korea, is currently operating UNU & GIST Joint Programme on Science and Technology for Sustainability.

International Environmental Research Center (IERC) organizes an international Internship Programme twice per year, offering postgraduate students from developing countries the opportunity to participate in a 4-month training course in collaboration with the Department of Environmental Science and Engineering, GIST.

Up to 8 intern students are being sought for the coming Spring semester.

The Programme is designed to provide knowledge and skills on science and technology for sustainability from both theoretical and empirical perspectives.

Participants who successfully complete the Programme will receive an International Environmental Research Center (IERC) Certificate of Completion.

Requirements include research result presentations and regular class attendance as well as active participation in the program.
