The ICSP scholarship has a required cultural service component which requires students to give presentations about their home country to classes at the University of Oregon, to local schools, or to community groups.
Funds are made available by the University of Oregon and can be applied toward reducing tuition only. ICSP awards are based on financial need, academic merit, and the ability to make presentations to diverse groups of people. Awards are renewable.
Eligibility:
Applicants may be prospective or current University of Oregon students. Current students must be enrolled in a regular, full-time course of study at the University of Oregon with a nonimmigrant visa (F-1 or J-1.)
Applicants must have a minimum grade point average of 2.5 for undergraduates and 3.0 for graduate students.
For further information please contact icsp[at]uoregon.edu.
The application deadline is normally around February 15.
