GTZ Vacancies: GTZ advises governments on mainstreaming their goals and change processes in laws and strategies, and implementing these country-wide.

The GTZ seeks to recruit for the following position:

Senior Programme Officer - Sexual Reproductive Health Component

Qualifications:

  • Post graduate degree in public health or related fields Undergraduate degree in either health or natural sciences;
  • Knowledge and experience with the medical, cultural and anthropological aspects of SRH including linkages to HIV/AIDS;
  • Knowledge and experience in gender and Reproductive rights issues;
  • Previous experience in policy dialogue and technical advisory role;
  • At least 5 years work experience in sexual reproductive health or related health programs within East Africa;
  • Previous management experience in a similar program is preferred, including financial oversight/management;
  • Proven leadership skills and experience;
  • Team player with broad social skills, high inter-cultural;
  • Sensitivity and good negotiation skills;
  • Strong oral and written communication skills;
  • Excellent command of MS-Office.
