Erasmus Mundus Scholarship Programme is offered by the European Union (EU). It is for study at various European Universities for both masters & Phd. Erasmus Mundus masters & Phd scholarships are provided annually in various subjects.

Application procedure:

Applications can only be submitted online at the participating consortium.

Masters’ Course will be of duration of one to two years depending on the nature of the subjects.

PhD scholarships and courses last 3 years.

Scholarship Application Eligibility Criteria:

African students who have graduated from recognized Universities are eligible to apply.

The students have to apply in their individual capacity directly to the relevant Consortium of Universities constituted under the Erasmus Mundus Programme.

You must not have been a resident in Europe for more than 12 months in the last five years at the time of application.

Scholarship Amount

The value of the scholarship currently stands at 24 000 Euros per year.

Students will be provided with reasonable amount as scholarship to meet the expenses, such as, fees, to and fro air journey, staying/maintenance cost etc. For further details the interested candidates may click the European Union website.
