The Carl Malmberg Fellowship Program brings an accomplished professional from Lesotho to the University of Pittsburgh at an early point in his or her career for two academic terms of study and related practical professional experiences.
Candidates are young professionals whose early records of accomplishment indicate strong potential for outstanding achievement and a capacity to contribute to the development of Lesotho.
By providing future leaders with a shared experience of U.S. society and culture with current approaches in the fields in which they work, the program provides a basis for lasting ties between practitioners in the United States and their professional counterparts in Lesotho.
The Carl Malmberg Fellowship grant is for two academic terms at the University of Pittsburgh.
Each academic term at the University is four and one half months.
The fellowship is not renewable.
The fellow will receive a stipend of $10,000 for two academic terms (nine months), health insurance, round-trip transportation between his or her home and Pittsburgh, $800 for justified travel within the U.S. related to the study program, and $800 for justified books and additional professional related materials.
Deadline: 1st March
