Holland Scholarships

The Amsterdam Merit Scholarship can sometimes be supplemented with the Holland Scholarship, of which the UvA is a participating member.

This scholarship is collectively offered by the Ministry of Education, Culture and Science and participating Dutch universities.

The scholarship is for students from outside the European Economic Area (EEA) who would like to study at the UvA. The EEA includes countries in the EU as well as Liechtenstein, Iceland and Norway.

The faculties and international schools award scholarships themselves; as such, regulations may vary.
