Job SummaryUnder the supervision of the Supply Chain Director, the Company Planning Manager is responsible to deliver an optimized sales and operations plan S&OP as per the company goals and objectives by coordinating with key people in the company and outside.
Ensure availability of stocks for all portfolio companies; HCFM, ZAK, ASTCO, AQUASAFE.
Analyze (casefile, forecasts accuracy…) reports and provide feedbacks to improve customer service while optimizing the stocks level of raw and packing materials as well as finished goods.
Key Functions
Demand Planning
Rebuilding the entire database of the Sales & Operations Planning process flow, timing and responsibilities on whole process.
Re-instate the process of having finance member in the team as well as the monthly feedback of S&OP plan at the end of each month
Lead the S&OP process
Conducting and administrating sales and operations planning ( S&OP ) on a weekly basis with all key people in the business ( Sales, Marketing, Procurement, Production & Finance )
Coordinating with both sales & Marketing department on New product launching, monthly promotions, stock that are slow moving to ensure the availability and movement of stocks
In-charge for promotion communication to warehouse and factory and ensure that all products will be packed on time prior to commencement of promotion.
This also includes deciding whether tactical promotions can be done considering the stock holding and effect on existing and buffer stocks
Generate and monitor 12 months rolling forecasts, have it validated by sales and Marketing key people
Analyze case fill reports
Supply Planning
Review factory capacities and constraints with the production team
Establish Production Planning for all 4 companies.
Revamp MRP process. Materials requirement planning. 12 months rolling.
Ensure procurement orders are instructed by MRP coming from Supplies Plans and Demand Plans
Instruct procurement plan (orders to be released) to procurement department to ensure that required products will be available at the right quantity and right time (for all finished goods, raw and packaging materials)
Inventory Management
Monitor the stocks to meet the agreed stock levels for each company.
Sales and Stock Simulation for each company.
Tracking of orders versus production – ensure that production is completed at end of each month and if in case of deviation, alert management and highlight the effect on stock situation versus plans(i.e. delay in production, stock out in certain skus…)
Tracking of materials deliveries – highlight to management delays, abnormal planning in shipment dispatch (i.e. high volume arriving in a particular week compared to overall agreed schedule of shipments)
Monitor daily, the stocks movements of the products and follow up the orders and arrivals with both the procurement and Inbound departments.
Others
Generating monthly planning KPIs, analyzing them and reporting findings to Management
Assessing complete Sales and Operations Plans at the end of each month and presenting results and findings to the Executive Team
Job Requirements
Competences
Knowledge in ERP Systems
Microsoft Office Knowledge (Word, Excel, Power Point)
Understanding of production, Sales and Marketing required.
Education Qualifications and Requirement
BSc in Supply Chain management, Logistics, or closely related field.
Experience
5 Years experience in demand & Supply planning in any FMCG Business
