November 15, 2006
A free e-zine bringing you inspirational articles, great tips on studying abroad as well as jobs and scholarships alerts.

Serving Africans around the world.

November 15 2006, ISSUE #013.

Hello!

As always I encourage you to recommend https://www.advance-africa.com/ to friends and family - especially suggest they get this free e-mail by subscribing at the site.

Besides the usual list of scholarships, upcoming deadlines and jobs, today’s newsletter has a link on how to join the British Army.

Many Commonwealth citizens are not aware that they do not have to be British citizens or resident in Britain to make an application.

The article was kindly submitted by a subscriber to this newsletter who beat the low job prospects in Africa by joining the well compensated British Armed Forces.

While still on the subject of tips, several subscribers who have recently won or are on various scholarships have agreed to submit their experiences in terms of making applications, expectations etc. I am very grateful for this and am sure you will benefit in one way or another. The links to their articles will follow in subsequent newsletters.

One of the interesting upcoming application deadlines is Echoing Green Fellowship Program. If you consider yourself a social entrepreneur, this is an ideal place to go for seed funding; competitive but no funding can be granted unless you try!

The program has previously funded applicants from various parts of Africa.
